With the exception of increased ferry services which we owe to our local MP Gabrielle Upton, residents are experiencing deteriorating amenity in the East. For decades there has been almost no improvement in infrastructure in the Eastern suburbs. This is even more obvious as State Government is allowing development with minimal or no parking facilities.
The abandoned railway line plan to Bondi Beach should be reopened and extended to Double Bay, Rose Bay, Dover Heights and Watsons Bay.
This would alleviate the shocking congestion on the roads and reduce emissions.
