Member for Vaucluse Gabrielle Upton MP today invited the local community to provide feedback on the concept design for the Double Bay Ferry Wharf accessibility upgrade.
Ms Upton said, “The proposed accessibility upgrade will provide Double Bay Ferry Wharf with new facilities including a dual-sided floating pontoon with a covered waiting area, new customer seating and weather protection.”
All feedback received during the consultation period will be used to help the project team with the wharf design.
“Every effort will also be made to minimise the disruption to the community while the upgrade takes place, however it is anticipated that ferry services to Double Bay Wharf will be interrupted during construction.”
Residents will have an opportunity to provide feedback on how to minimise any disruption as part of the Review of Environmental Factors process.
