$306,308 TO IMPROVE OUR LOCAL PARKS & RESERVES

Member for Vaucluse, Gabrielle Upton today announced that the local community will benefit from funding under the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund (CRIF) to upgrade parks, reserves and community facilities.

“Waverley Council also secured $283,083 to construct a new viewing platform, upgrade two existing seating areas, install new signage and bins and replace a damaged fence on Hugh Bamford Reserve and Williams Park, North Bondi.”

Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Rob Stokes said CRIF projects include improvements to nature reserves, public halls, surf life-saving facilities, Scout and Girl Guide halls, amenities blocks, PCYC clubs, racecourses, playground equipment and more.

“This record $51.7 million investment will protect and enhance Crown land while stimulating local economies with work for tradespeople.”
